Like most male idols, ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo had his time come to enlist and serve in the military. But before his departure, he is making one last wave in the K-Pop world with his super-short buzz cut.

His mandatory service in the Army military band begins July 28, 2025 (KST). He will enter the training center for approximately five weeks of basic military training and then be assigned to the military band unit where he will serve as an active-duty soldier.

According to Fantagio, the time and location of his enlistment will remain private, and no official event will be held to prevent on-site congestion and ensure safety. The agency stated, “We ask for your warm encouragement and support for Cha Eunwoo as he faithfully fulfills his military duty and returns in good health.”
