ENHYPEN Shatters Personal Record with 1.89M Albums Sold on Day One—A ‘Desire’-Fueled Breakthrough

ENHYPEN is on fire—lighting up charts and rewriting their own records within just 24 hours of their latest comeback.

On June 6, Hanteo Chart reported that the group’s 6th mini album DESIRE: UNLEASH sold an explosive 1,896,777 copies on its first day (June 5), securing the No. 1 spot on the daily album chart and setting a new personal best. This number beats their previous first-day sales record of 1,883,143 copies, set by last year’s full-length album ROMANCE: UNTOLD.

With pre-orders already surpassing 2.18 million, all signs point toward DESIRE: UNLEASH becoming ENHYPEN’s second “first-week double million seller.”

But their success isn’t limited to physical albums. The group also took over the Bugs real-time chart, with their title track “Bad Desire (With or Without You)” and B-sides like “Flashover,” “Too Close,” “Helium,” and “Outside” landing in the top five. Older fan-favorites like “No Doubt,” “Bite Me,” and “Polaroid Love” also saw a resurgence on the charts.

ENHYPEN’s global influence is equally undeniable. The album soared to No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums in countries like Japan and Mexico, while landing high placements in the UK (5th), US (6th), and Canada (7th). It also claimed the top spot on the Worldwide iTunes Albums Chart, while the title track hit the Top Songs chart in 38 regions, including Indonesia, Thailand, and Brazil. Over in Japan, it topped AWA’s Real-Time Rising Music Top 100 and ranked high on LINE Music’s real-time charts as well.

DESIRE: UNLEASH is an emotionally charged project exploring the intense longing and resilience that drive love’s connection. Following their comeback stage on Mnet’s M Countdown, ENHYPEN will continue their promotions with appearances on KBS 2TV’s Music Bank and The Seasons – Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile on June 6.
