Most recently, girl group members have had their posts hyper-analyzed by netizens, with criticism for alleged body checking and other weight-related content.

On March 24, Jimin shared an Instagram update, revealing his weight to be 59.7 KG (around 131 lbs), down from 67.8  (around 149) when he was in the military.

Many commented on him revealing his weight and rather than commenting on the number, they compared reactions to him doing so and female idols doing so.
