It’s finally June! After more than a year of waiting, ARMYs are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
With Jin and J-Hope already back in the spotlight after completing their military service, the rest of BTS is expected to rejoin the entertainment industry very soon. In fact, they’re set to be discharged this very month!
Jin was the first to enlist and also the first to be discharged. He completed his service on June 12, 2024. Since then, he’s been busy with new music and several variety show appearances, quickly becoming a fan-favorite on screen once again.
J-Hope followed closely behind, wrapping up his enlistment on October 17, 2024. Not long after returning, he released new tracks and even went on a world tour, proving that he hadn’t missed a beat.
Now, with only five members still in service, fans are eagerly looking forward to their return. While BigHit Music has not confirmed official discharge dates, we can estimate their return based on standard military service durations in South Korea. The projected dates are as follows!
RM
Projected discharge on June 10, 2025. He enlisted on December 11, 2023.

V
Also expected to be discharged on June 10, 2025, as he enlisted the same day as RM.

Jimin
Likely to complete service by June 11, 2025. His enlistment began on December 12, 2023.
Jungkook
Also expected to be discharged on June 11, 2025, as he enlisted alongside Jimin.
Suga
His service will end later than the others. Since he enlisted as a public service worker on September 22, 2023, his projected discharge date is June 21, 2025.

With less than a month left, excitement is growing fast. Fans are already counting down the days, preparing to welcome the full group back. BTS’s return as a complete unit is shaping up to be one of the biggest moments in K-Pop in recent years.
