Boys II Planet (also known as Boys Planet 2) is a K-Pop survival show created by Mnet. This sequel to Girls Planet 999 and Boys Planet, which premiered on July 17 and 18, features over 40 competitors. Some of the competitors are already familiar to viewers because they previously competed on a survival show or they have debuted as idols.

On Threads, a fan shared a wholesome story about Ngan showing up at an in-person exchange for the fan-made goods she had made. She didn’t recognize him at first, not because he looked different in person, but because she’s an “introvert” and didn’t look him in the eye.

After Ngan handed the fan a photobooth strip of himself taking photos with his virtual self, he quickly left. At first, the fan was totally confused, and for good reason. Luckily, a friend came to her rescue!

All of a sudden, he gave me something and left hurriedly. I took a look and thought, ‘Huh, why are there two Ngan Chau Yuets [in the photos]?’ I looked at my friend and basically blacked out after that. My friend said she pushed me towards his direction, and when I came to my senses, I was already running.

I said, ‘You’re him???’ He nodded and said, ‘Ah, yeah.’

The two took a photo together, and the fan’s heart practically jumped out of her chest!

Then I asked him if we could take a photo. And then we took one together. Too bad I didn’t have a pen, or else I could’ve asked him for an autograph.

My mind went blank after that. I told him that I hoped I could see him again in the future, that I would never delete my fan account, that I would always be here
