The video clip in question suddenly surfaced on social media, showing Rosé supposedly on a date. Initially, claims that were circulating said that she was spotted somewhere in the US.

The clip, which only captured the BLACKPINK member from the back, showed her leaning her head on the shoulder of someone sitting beside her at a restaurant. Netizens immediately started digging, trying to uncover who the “man” was beside her.

The mystery, however, was solved soon as fans provided the real context. As it turned out, the video was taken in Paris last year, and the person beside Rosé was Gee Rouz, a manager at Atlantic Music Group, who is a well-known member of the idol’s team.
