ASTRO’s Yoon SanHa dropped his second solo album “CHAMELEON” on July 15th, which reflects his different colors as a singer. Along with the new album, ASTRO’s maknae will appear in the upcoming KBS Wednesday-Thursday drama “My Girlfriend Is A Man.”
SanHa expressed his excitement about his new album in an interview with Maeil Business Newspaper.
“There were a lot of things I wanted to do while preparing for the report. In a way, I was greedy. I was thinking about it because I wanted to show both bright and dark vibes, but it became ‘Let’s just do everything,’” SanHa said. “The company also trusted me. The colors of each track are all different, so I wonder if fans will feel confused about the identity, but I’m confident that I’ll be good at everything.”
The title song ‘EXTRA VIRGIN’ depicts the bright color that mirrors SanHa. He shared that he was torn between ‘EXTRA VIRGIN’ and ‘Bad Mosquito’ (the second track, where he can show some performance) when selecting the title song. But he chose the current title because it reflects the bright side that SanHa wants to show.
However, his member Cha EunWoo opposed his choice. For SanHa, the comments of his elder members can shake him as the maknae, but in the end, he chose what he wanted. Despite the opposition, EunWoo was proud and supportive of his second album.
SanHa also jokingly said that he needs to catch up with EunWoo, who is now getting ready to go to the military. With his upcoming drama, “My Girlfriend Is A Man,” it seems like he is following EunWoo’s path.
“When I see that, I think we’ve gotten a little closer than before,” SanHa said,”My brother, who is about to join the military, said half jokingly and half jokingly, ‘I hope you follow me when I come back from (the military).”

“My Girlfriend Is a Man,” written by Lee HaeNa, directed by Yoo KwanMo, and produced by Studio N, Blossom Entertainment, and Playgrounds, will air for the first time on Wednesday, July 23. It is based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same title, written by Masta.
It is a romantic comedy about Kim JiEun (played by ARin), who becomes a pretty boy overnight, and Park YoonJae (played by Yoon SanHa), a man who can’t give up on his girlfriend.
