4th Gen Idol Irritates “KPop Demon Hunters” Viewers With Unfiltered Opinion, Fans Come To His Defense

As KPop Demon Hunters remains a hot topic, it was only a matter of time before K-Pop idols began to react on a broader scale.

Like the title suggests, the movie is about K-Pop idols who also moonlight as demon hunters and face off against a boy band made up of demons. KPop Demon Hunters includes some real-world aspects of idol life, including award shows and music charts.

Many idols have claimed to have enjoyed watching the movie, but some have expressed some opinions that were not well-received.

Recently, ATEEZ’s Wooyoung held a live stream, during which he discussed various topics, including K-Pop Demon Hunters.

At one point, Wooyoung comments on the film, saying that he had a hard time getting into the film due to the differences between real idol life.

I couldn’t really get into it while watching it because I kept going ‘Oh, that’s not how it goes’ or ‘That’s now what it’s like.’

Unexpectedly, some had thoughts about his opinion, feeling them too serious for a movie on the topic.

Many fans came to his defense, saying that he had a right to express his opinion as an actual idol and mentioning that he did say he liked the film. Others agreed by bringing up possible real-life examples of what Wooyoung said being true.
